The Kentucky ILP stands for Individual Learning Plan. This is a web-based program that will help your student focus their coursework on individual goals as they prepare for Graduation, Future Studies, and Career Paths.
Please "join" this web page (up in the right-hand corner) so you will receive email updates about announcements, new files, etc.
ILP Announcements Employment 101Steve Conrad from the Boone County Extension Office will be here throughout the school year to help students prepare for searching for jobs, job applications, job interviews, etc.
On the last day of his visit, Mr. Conrad will bring extra Extension Office Agents; and students will participate in their first "Job Interview"!!! 1st Grading Period: Sep. 27-30 2nd Grading Period: Nov. 1-4 3rd Grading Period: Feb. 14-17 4th Grading Period: Mar. 20-23 Please remember to dress for your "interview" (collared shirt, blouse, etc...). Did you know you have your own username and password to access your student's ILP??? When you log in, you can see the careers, colleges, scholarships, goals, etc. your student has chosen so far!!! You are also able to leave comments on any part of your student's ILP about their choices. To get your username and password (and instructions for ILP), email Ms. Judd: carrie.judd@boone.kyschools.us. Check Out the "Get Schooled" Website!!!This website is for Parents and Students alike to learn more information on how to help all kids:
-Graduate high school. -Find financial aid, work studies, internships, ROTC, etc. -Find a career that would interest and challenge them. -Find the right college, university, training, etc. And a whole list of other information to help all students be successful in life. You can find the link to this website under "Links" on the bottom right of this page. Search for Careers in the Military!!!Career Cruising has added a new feature to searching for careers! You now can search for specific careers in each branch of the military.
You can search by branch, by interests, etc. To access this feature: 1. Log in to your ILP 2. Click on the purple Careers tab at the top of the page 3. Click on the second-to-last blue button (it's labeled "Military Careers") 4. Search by one of the choices given... Search for Colleges & Universities throughout the World!!!Please scroll down to the "Links" section of the page. I have added a website that lets you search for colleges & universities outside of the USA!!!
Click on the section of the world you are interested in, and it will give you a list of countries. From there you pick a country, and the site will give you a list of that country's colleges & universities. Click on any college or university for information. Also, towards the bottom of the info page, there will be a link to that college or university's website (look closely, because it's typed small...). Discussion Topics ILP Files
